Arbitrary SQL execution via unescaped search keywords
Published Sep 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Wuzhi CMS 4.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the promote search keywords parameter. The search method in coreframe/app/promote/admin/index.php interpolates keywords directly into a LIKE clause passed to get_list without quoting or parameterization. The published proof of concept extracts the current database name through an error response; NVD assesses the route as requiring no authentication or user interaction.
