Command execution via forged plugin upload
Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Chamilo LMS 1.11.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted URL. The plugin-upload feature processes a forged authenticated administrator request and installs an attacker-supplied ZIP plugin whose PHP payload is web-accessible. An administrator must load attacker-controlled content while an active Chamilo session is present, after which the uploaded payload executes commands on the server.
