Credential disclosure via unauthenticated configuration export
Published Sep 24, 2021 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Information disclosure in D-Link DIR-605L B2 firmware 2.01MT allows remote attackers to obtain router credentials via a crafted POST request. The getcfg.php handler accepts an unauthenticated SERVICES=DEVICE.ACCOUNT request with a forged AUTHORIZED_GROUP value and returns stored names and passwords in plaintext. Network access to the web interface is sufficient, and the disclosed credentials grant administrative login access.
