Credential disclosure via unauthorized getcfg.php request
Published Sep 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in D-Link DIR-615 B2 firmware 2.01mt allows remote authenticated users to obtain usernames and passwords. The getcfg.php endpoint accepts a forged POST request and returns stored account credentials without enforcing authorization for that configuration data. Access to the network management interface and a low-privileged authenticated session are required; the documented consequence is credential disclosure only.
