Administrator-only internal resource access via unfiltered LDAP settings
Published Sep 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SSRF in ownCloud user_ldap before 0.15.4 allows remote authenticated users with an administration role to access internal resources. The user_ldap settings path fails to reject invalid characters before making a server-side request, but ownCloud has not identified the affected setting or code locus. An administration role is required, and the published impact is limited to disclosure from resources reachable by the ownCloud server.
