Use-after-free in Google Chrome before 96.0.4664.93 allows attackers to corrupt heap memory through a crafted Chrome extension. Google identifies the locus only as Web Apps and has not disclosed the freed object, responsible function, or exact extension-controlled operation. A user must install the malicious extension before attackers can trigger heap corruption in the browser process.
