Forged state-changing requests through authenticated sessions
Published Nov 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Airangel HSMX Gateway 5.2.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to submit state-changing requests. Public records do not identify the affected endpoint or specify which request-origin, token, or same-site validation is missing. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to interact with attacker-controlled content; the resulting action is limited to that user's exposed privileges.
