Stored script execution via updates-table name
Published Nov 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Airangel HSMX Gateway devices through 5.2.04 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The web interface renders an XSS payload placed through database access in the name column of the updates table without neutralizing it. Low-privileged database access and a user viewing the affected updates page are required; execution is confined to that user's web session.
