Client denial of service via cross-application activity collection
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Denial of service in SAP SuccessFactors Mobile before 2108 allows local users to crash or flood the Android client through shared methods. Android implementation methods invoked when a user opens a profile also collect activities from background applications that use the same method types. Profile access in an authenticated mobile session is required; resource exhaustion interrupts the client, and exposed activity data can enable phishing.
