Private-network service access via unchecked passive addresses

Server-side request forgery in GNU Inetutils ftp before 2.2 allows remote attackers to reach private-network services via passive FTP replies. The initconn function trusts the address encoded in a PASV or LPSV response and opens the data connection without matching it to the control peer. Exploitation requires a user to connect to a malicious FTP server and issue a data command; the server can then induce connections and obtain service banners.
