Privilege escalation in Microsoft Windows Nearby Sharing allows adjacent remote authenticated users to gain elevated privileges. Microsoft has not published the affected code path or the operation that mishandles untrusted nearby-sharing input. Exploitation requires low privileges and adjacent-network access, and successful use grants elevated authority on the affected host.
