Privilege escalation in Advantech SQ Manager Server 1.0.6 allows local users to execute code as NT SYSTEM via replaceable service files. The installation grants Everyone full control over PostgreSQL executables and DLLs, allowing local users to replace code loaded by the service. After the service restarts under NETWORK SERVICE, SeImpersonatePrivilege enables token impersonation and reliable NT SYSTEM execution.
