Unauthenticated credential disclosure via camera CGI endpoints
Published Sep 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Credential disclosure in Compro IP70 2.08_7130218, IP570 2.08_7130520, IP60, and TN540 allows remote attackers to read credentials. The cameralist.cgi and setcamera.cgi endpoints return stored credentials to unauthenticated HTTP requests instead of enforcing access control. Network access alone is sufficient; the disclosed authentication secrets affect confidentiality, with no reported data modification or service interruption.
