CVE-2021-40355Network attack vector

Unauthorized object access via unchecked references

Published Sep 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Authorization bypass in Siemens Teamcenter 12.4 through 13.2 allows remote authenticated users to access objects directly. Teamcenter uses a user-supplied object reference without verifying that the requesting account is authorized for the referenced object. Exploitation requires a network-accessible Teamcenter interface and a high-privilege account; Siemens does not disclose the affected endpoint or object types.
