Database compromise via unfiltered selection parameter
Published Dec 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Piwigo 11.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the Batch Manager. The admin/batch_manager_global.php handler concatenates unfiltered selection[] values into an SQL statement; pwg_token is the required session token, not the injected field. A valid login and token are required, and crafted requests can expose or alter gallery database contents or interrupt service.
