Stored script execution via unsanitized profile state
Published Nov 8, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in the client profile page of Perfex CRM 1.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The profile update endpoint stores the POSTed state field without neutralizing HTML and renders it when the profile is later viewed. Exploitation requires a valid client session and another user to view the profile, exposing application data and actions available to that user's session.
