Database reads and modification via concatenated identifiers
Published Dec 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in ZZCMS 8.2, 8.3, 2020, and 2021 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via a crafted id value. The admin/dl_sendmail.php handler splits POST id array elements at a pipe and concatenates the first portions directly into quoted or unquoted SQL without validation or parameter binding. Administrator access and the dl permission are required; injected time-delay queries and database reads were demonstrated.
