Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized POST id
Published Dec 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in zzcms 8.2, 8.3, 2020, and 2021 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete database data via admin/bad.php. admin/bad.php concatenates unsanitized POST id array values into DELETE and UPDATE statements before passing the resulting SQL to query(). Administrative access is required; the published proof of concept uses time-delayed queries and demonstrates extraction of an administrator password hash.
