Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds PostScript read
Published Sep 29, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe FrameMaker 2019 Update 8 and earlier and 2020 Update 2 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory. The PostScript parser reads beyond a buffer boundary while processing crafted file data, but Adobe has not disclosed the affected function. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file, and the disclosed memory can assist in bypassing mitigations such as ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
