Sensitive-memory disclosure via use-after-free
Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2021.005.20060 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected parser or the object-lifetime error that causes freed memory to be reused. A victim must open the crafted file; the resulting disclosure exposes sensitive address data and weakens ASLR.
