Arbitrary code execution via malicious TIFF handling
Published Sep 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Memory corruption in Adobe InCopy allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a user opens a malicious TIFF file. TIFF handling accesses memory beyond the end of a buffer while processing attacker-controlled image data; Adobe has not disclosed a more specific code locus. The code runs as the current user in InCopy 16.3 and earlier on Windows and 16.3.1 and earlier on macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
