Elevation of privilege in Android Dialer on Android-12L allows local users to alter visual voicemail settings through a missing permission check. The Dialer visual voicemail settings path fails to enforce the required permission before accepting setting changes. User interaction is required, and successful exploitation can grant higher privileges on the device without requiring additional execution privileges.
