Privilege management failure in Android 12L rcsservice allows local users to escalate privileges by modifying TTY mode. The System component's rcsservice accepts a TTY mode change without performing the required permission check. A local application can exploit the unchecked operation without user interaction or additional execution privileges, gaining access beyond its assigned permissions.
