CVE-2021-39753

Local information disclosure via missing permission check

Published Mar 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in Google Cloud Android 12L allows local users to read app domain verification information through DomainVerificationService. The service returns domain-verification state without enforcing the permission check required for the querying caller. Exploitation requires a local application context but no additional execution privilege or user interaction, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of verification metadata without integrity or availability impact.
