Local information disclosure via incorrect bounds check
Published Mar 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Android kernel telephony allows local users with System privileges to disclose information without interaction. The ProtocolStkProactiveCommandAdapter::Init method in protocolstkadapter.cpp applies an incorrect bounds check before reading memory. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges and exposes memory contents; it does not alter data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
