Local privilege escalation via inconsistent protection levels

Permission bypass in the Android 11 framework allows local users to gain additional privileges through a malicious application. BasePermission.createOrUpdate updates its cached protectionLevel but leaves the associated Permission object holding an inconsistent protection level, causing permission checks to use conflicting values. User-level code execution is required, but no user interaction is needed; successful exploitation grants privileges beyond those assigned to the application.
