Cross-site scripting via unescaped report parameters
Published Nov 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SEO Panel 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through crafted report parameters. Multiple PHP report pages place the from_time, to_time, order_col, or pageno request value into generated HTML without neutralizing injected quote and event-handler markup. Execution requires an authenticated SEO Panel user to open a crafted URL and interact with the affected field, exposing that user's session data and browser context.
