Administrator-context script execution via unsanitized request path
Published Sep 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Beego 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through a crafted URI path. The Request Statistics page records and renders the requested path without neutralizing HTML or script markup. Exploitation requires an administrator to open that page; the injected script then runs in that administrator's browser context.
