Unauthenticated command execution via JSP file write
Published Mar 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Remote code execution in DWSurvey 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted property-save request. The save method in SysPropertyAction writes a client-controlled value into admin-info.jsp, which login.jsp includes, while a /design/.. path bypasses request filtering. The endpoint requires no authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation runs commands with the application server's privileges.
