Admin-level stored XSS via unsanitized job fields
Published Oct 15, 2021 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Stored XSS in Job Manager 0.7.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to inject scripts through job fields. The Add Job path in admin-jobs.php accepts crafted Title and Application Email values without sufficient validation or sanitization and stores them for later rendering. Exploitation requires administrator access and applies when unfiltered_html is disabled, including affected multisite installations; rendering the stored content executes the script in another user’s browser.
