CVE-2021-39210Network attack vector

Session hijacking via script-readable autologin cookie

Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Sensitive cookie exposure in GLPI before 9.5.6 allows remote authenticated users to steal autologin credentials through scripts. The persistent-login path creates the autologin cookie without the HttpOnly attribute, allowing browser-executed plugin code to read the cookie value. Exploitation requires persistent-login use and malicious plugin code; the stolen value permits autologin as the affected account.
