Arbitrary SQL execution via unescaped assignedUsers filters
Published Oct 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in the Tracker API in DHIS2 Core 2.32 through 2.36 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The affected assignedUsers and escapeSql handling fails to neutralize attacker-controlled SQL syntax before constructing Tracker queries. A logged-in DHIS2 account and deliberate requests to the affected endpoints are required; successful exploitation permits reading, editing, and deleting instance data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
