Process crash via unchecked non-Buffer input

Improper type handling in Sonicdoe ced before 1.0.0 allows attackers to crash a Node.js process by supplying non-Buffer input. The exported JavaScript wrapper forwards its argument directly to the native bindings.detectEncoding function without first checking Buffer.isBuffer. Reachability requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled non-Buffer values, and the bounded consequence is termination of the application's Node.js process.
