CVE-2021-39124Network attack vector

Unauthorized request replay via CSRF retry form

Published Sep 14, 2021 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

CSRF in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.16.0 allows remote attackers to replay crafted requests after user interaction. The failure-retry form replays an attacker-crafted request after the victim retries it, bypassing the normal CSRF protection. Exploitation requires a remote attacker to induce an authenticated user to retry the failed request, enabling state-changing actions with that user's permissions.
