Issue-update disclosure via retained revoked-account notifications
Published Sep 1, 2021 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Broken access control in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.19.0 allows remote attackers to receive issue updates after account revocation. The issue notification feature retains watched users as recipients after Jira application access is revoked, so later issue events continue disclosing update content. An account must watch the issue before revocation; exposure is limited to content in later notifications for that issue.
