OGNL injection in affected Atlassian Confluence Server and Data Center versions allows remote authenticated users to execute code or commands. The vulnerable request path evaluates an account-supplied OGNL payload instead of treating it only as data, reaching Java execution and the host command runner. A valid Confluence account is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the application process context.
