Cleartext credential storage in IBM Security Guardium 10.5, 10.6, and 11.0 through 11.4 allows local users with privileged access to read secrets. Guard Installation Manager (GimServer) writes passwords and keys into a log file without protecting their contents. Exploitation requires privileged local access to the appliance and exposes recorded credentials, without reported integrity or availability impact.
