Unauthenticated account impersonation via undisclosed authentication flaw
Published Feb 2, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Authentication bypass in IBM Security Verify Access 10.0.0.0, 10.0.1.0, and 10.0.2.0 allows remote attackers to impersonate any user. IBM has not published the affected request handler, validation failure, or credential-processing operation within the Advanced Access Control authentication service. The service must be enabled, but no prior account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation grants access as any system user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
