Sensitive-data access via misconfigured CORS headers
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
CORS misconfiguration in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.0.0 through 10.1.8.x allows remote attackers to retrieve data and perform privileged actions. The web interface returns misconfigured cross-origin access-control headers, permitting an untrusted origin to submit requests and read responses. A network-reachable interface is required; successful exploitation exposes sensitive information and enables privileged actions without interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
