Sensitive-data disclosure via missing HSTS enforcement
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Information disclosure in IBM Guardium Data Encryption 5.0.0.2 and 5.0.0.3 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data in transit. CipherTrust Manager web responses fail to enable HTTP Strict Transport Security, permitting connection interception by a network-positioned attacker. Exploitation requires a man-in-the-middle position between a user and the management interface; the documented consequence is disclosure, not modification or interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
