Information disclosure in IBM Guardium Data Encryption 4.0.0.7 and earlier allows attackers to read sensitive data from retained URLs. The Vormetric Data Security Manager places sensitive values in URL parameters, allowing server logs, Referrer headers, and browser history to retain them. Exploitation requires a privileged user action and access to one of those URL records; the reported impact is limited to confidentiality.
