CVE-2021-38954Network attack vector

Authenticated version disclosure via B2B API

Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Information disclosure in the B2B API of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive version data. The API exposes product version details to a logged-in caller, but IBM has not published the affected endpoint or implementation error. Valid product credentials and network access to the B2B API are required; the disclosure aids product fingerprinting but does not alter data or interrupt service.
