Credential disclosure via crash diagnostic logging
Published Nov 16, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cleartext credential exposure in IBM MQ Java/JMS clients 7.5, 8.0, 9.0 LTS, and 9.1 allows local users to read crash diagnostic logs. Crash-generated diagnostic files record client credentials without masking or encryption. Local access to those files is required, and exposure is limited to credential confidentiality; no data modification or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
