Authenticated code execution via unrestricted logo upload
Published Sep 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Simple Water Refilling Station Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The update_settings action in classes/SystemSettings.php accepts a System Logo upload without restricting executable PHP content and stores it in a web-accessible location. A valid application account is required; an uploaded PHP web shell then executes commands with the web server's privileges.
