Authentication bypass via unescaped login username
Published Sep 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Water Refilling Station Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication via a username. The login handler in water_refilling/classes/Login.php interpolates the submitted username directly into a SELECT query without sanitization. No account or user interaction is required; the resulting authenticated session can be chained with an unrestricted logo upload to execute PHP code.
