Media service crash via decoder NULL dereference

A NULL pointer dereference in Allwinner R818 Android Q SDK 1.0 media decoding allows remote attackers to crash the media service. The media/libcedarc/vdecoder component dereferences a NULL pointer during video decoding; public records do not identify the triggering input or function. Network access is sufficient without authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to a media crash.
