Unauthenticated doctor-record deletion via unchecked POST request
Published Aug 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authorization in Hospital Management System allows remote attackers to delete doctor records through admin-panel1.php. The docsub1 branch accepts a posted demail value and executes a DELETE against doctb without checking an authenticated session or role. Remote attackers need only know a doctor email address to remove the corresponding stored record without administrator access.
