SQL injection via unsanitized col parameter
Published Sep 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in FUEL CMS 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the pages item-list endpoint. The item-list handler incorporates the col parameter into a database query, allowing a nested SELECT with SLEEP to control response timing. A valid CMS session is required; the published proof demonstrates time-based query execution but does not demonstrate database record access or modification.
