OS command injection in QNAP VS Series NVR running QVR before 5.1.6 build 20211109 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary commands. QNAP has not disclosed the vulnerable endpoint, parameter, or input-handling operation that passes attacker-controlled data to an operating-system command. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary command execution on the NVR.
