Remote code execution in Microsoft HEVC Video Extensions before 1.0.42094.0 allows attackers to execute code after user interaction. Microsoft has not published the affected codec routine, malformed input condition, or unsafe operation that triggers execution. User interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the user's privileges.
